It counts for part of why they're not always noticable to other players!

My Duskwight is... well, fairly clear up close, but maybe not noticable at a glance (to other players in a dungeon or whatever). At the point when I was still "new to Eorzea" and trying to link up the clan descriptions with characters, plus misunderstanding some dialogue, I'd incorrectly thought Luciane from the archers' guild was a Duskwight - and I liked her colour scheme so I copied it when I was experimenting with character designs. She's actually a Wildwood, but you can still replicate that skin colour, or something like it, with the Duskwight options.

I'd love to see more obvious Duskwight representation in the game. As others have said, the difference between the two is often hard to tell at a glance (or even after getting up in someone's face). ^_^

Then there's the Duskwight that's apart of the Ast quests that was hired to take back the teacher n her grandfather and kill everyone else. I'd like to see more of them that didn't follow the became a badnit/hired killer route.

The recent patch (4.4) has me thinking there may be a population of Duskwights in Ilsabard - or another clan that uses Duskwight models in any case.

There's Shadowhunter's unnamed companion of course, and the encampment we saw in the last scene of 4.4 had at least two Duskwights - the woman that was focused on, and a man in one of the wide shots.

Mother Miounne has a Duskwight model, and I used to think she was an important Duskwight NPC, but according to the lorebook she's Wildwood.

...I'm not sure how this information helps but it's an interesting Duskwight fact...?

Lady Amandine was a Duskwight and wealthy enough to afford buying Haukke manor, according to the description in the duty finder.
Atelloune is a Duskwight and a main character in the Leatherworker Stormblood quests.

    Pink-haired protagonist: I don’t understand!
Purple-haired antagonist: You don’t need to!

Years later, but might as well mention that thanks to lore books, we now know that Duskwight and Wildwood only applies to Gelmorran Elezen. Ishgardian Elezen relocated in Coerthas when Hyur pushed Elezen off their previous lands. Those Elezen that went to the Shroud were a different group that split into Wildwood and Duskwight after the emigration from Gelmorra.

More unrelated, but I've also seen a theory based on the lore book info that the Hyur and Elezen that created Gridania rededicated Gelmorra (or what was left of it) to the elementals even though there were likely still people (Duskwights or their ancestors) living there. Not sure how that would be done (maybe breaking the warding pottery, hence broken Gelmorran potsherds), but it would explain the enmity between clans if that were an ancient Duskwight's perspective.
Honestly, so much is uncertain surrounding Duskwights that you can theory-craft or make up just about anything. It's just as likely to be canon-compliant. A true blessing and curse for Duskwight lore seekers. The sad thing is that, at this point, we're unlikely to ever get any concrete answers about Duskwights. They just won't get as much attention lore/narrative-wise.

As Keeper an enjoyer I am also keeping an eye on you Duskwights. For better, of course. It's always joy to see you around, though it might be rarer encounter.

I always got the idea, or at least had the preference, that the Gridania-Gelmorra conflict was entirely mundane. No magic wards, no secret truth about the Elementals Gelmorra holds against them, just a campaign of straight-up abuse followed by a campaign of straight-up neglect, with constant background noise of bigotry. The Duskwight that still stay/stayed in Gelmorra weren't doing it because of some deep special reason, but just because it's their home.

Until they actually write anything about Gelmorra they can't tell me I'm wrong!
