all sound randomly cutting off for a second

its happened 3 times so far but only after the most recent patch and in a dungeon/trial. it’ll go completely silent for a moment mid battle. hasn’t occurred outside a dungeon/trial so far. i am on ps4. i dont use any headphones, just my normal sony tv inbuilt speakers. i feel like its a ffxiv related issue though because my tv is new and i have no issues watching/playing other things on it.

I would suggest doing a reinstall of the game. If this does not fix the issue I would suggest creating a bug report in the bug forums using the following form:

Happened to me on my pc and found out was my hdmi cable that needed replaced. It was to loose in hdmi plug and caused sound to go off and on. Only other time happened to me was from lag spike.
