Stairs to walk up to a troupe stage

Do you guys have a good idea on what item to use to make stairs to walk up on a troupe stage? I'd like something that looks like simple wooden stairs.

As a little bit of background: i'd like to make the ground floor of my house into a stage for music (or other) performances. So i have a stage there, but always jumping on it looks a bit silly.

You mean as a non-loft or non-floating troupe stage?

A few lalafellin step stools will do you right. They have a wooden texture and are dyable, so you can dye them the same color as your stage. Alternatively, for a 'fancier' step, the hingan benches allow walk ups and are also dyable.

As for a floating/loft troupe stage, you can make stairs out of cushions, use the Little Ladies' Day shelves if you have them, or use the indoor step ladder, but that last option still requires jumping.

Yes, i mean a troupe stage on the ground. Thanks for the hints, i'll try these and see how it turns out.

The lalafellin step stools are a taaaaad too short to be a smooth step onto a troupe stage. Try putting those up and then a hingan sideboard behind them.

We used two lalafellin stepstools clipped into a glade sideboard, all painted the same colour as the stage.

The best troupe stage step I've found is the oriental round table. It's the perfect height to allow any race to get onto the stage without having to jump or catch on something.
