[SMN] New Egi - When coming?

So many model to use, like Shiva, Ravana, Ramuh, Susano, etc. why we can't use?

I understand that exist balancement problem, so, many egi = many balancement necessary to make. So, my idea is use same ability for some egi.

example:
Ravana using same spell than ifrit (changing just spell animation, but same effect/number). a variation only in the model.

I also never understood why egi has monochrome color.

I hope that in the next expansion comes something interesting to summoner

they might add new glamors but i doubt you'll get new summons. It's not like 11, the egi's all have a particular function, some kind of gimmick they all adhere too. Titan or Topaz Carbuncle are your own personal tanks, useful for solo content, their skills build enmity, and they have higher hp and presumably defense compared to you and the other summons. Ifrit is your melee dps egi, it buffs melee type party members such as the tanks and any melee range dps. Garuda is the ranged caster egi, she debuffs enemies so that spellcasters gain a advantage. So presumably you'd have to come up with a egi that adds something new and outside of a egi that heals (which would be overpowered seeing as how they aren't a healers.) they'd be hard pressed to think up something new that isn't already being done by one of the other 3 egi's

I don’t want more egi, frankly I don’t think egi should exist at all, carbuncle suits the role of weak persistent pet, egi are just ugly and being a glorified auto attack doesn’t feel right for proper summons like Garuda, Titan and Ifrit.

Personally I hope if they ever split summoner and scholar that they’ll completely rework summoner in the process and do away with egi entirely in favour of Demi primals and just keep carbuncle as the persistent pet.

next Egi will be 5.0 (probably, .. but not before)

next "glamour" eggies? hopefully before 5.0, but somehow doubtfully.. (maybe not till 5.2 or later??)

It greatly bothers me that there has been no action on Glamours for EGI in ages, no more palette swapped carbuncles please! Every primal should have an EGI that actually somewhat resembles it, the current ones are horrific. Ifrit is the only one that looks decent. A summoner should be able to glamour the moment they defeat a primal since they are now intune with their aether.

Not a bad idea, perhaps when a summoner uses enkindle their elemental carbuncle could temporarily get replaced by a demi-garuda, titan, ifrit depending on which one you have summoned and they would stay with you like for 30s before using their limit break. Actually im quite fond of that idea.

I actually don't mind this idea. it would make enkindle a little bit more substantial looking.

To be specific the answer is we don't know yet. They said they will add more egi glams and as of last month their position has not changed on that, but they are still not ready to announce when this will happen.
