So, I was the one who made the suggestion earlier in the thread (now deleted) about kicking players automatically if they perform below par. I'll admit, I wasn't in a great mood back when I made those posts and wasn't thinking straight. I've had more time to subsconsciously think it over and realised just how garbage an idea it actually was. So yeah, deleting the posts was definitely the right move to make. I should never have suggested them in the first place.
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
Dude, seriously, quit deleting posts. So what if the ideas therein weren't popular. Either own those posts or move on to the next thing. No need to go to the extreme and start deleting posts just because people disagree with them. So, I was the one who made the suggestion earlier in the thread (now deleted) about kicking players automatically if they perform below par. In my eyes, those ideas were so bad, they warranted a ban from the forums, after seeing the backlash I got from them (and trust me, I did report it to the forum staff, as you can see nothing came of it). Besides, people can see that I deleted them and the reasoning why (because I felt they were bad enough ideas from the kickback that the GMs should ban me, permanently). The reason I brought this back up here was because of the other active parser thread of someone else bringing it up, to which both you and I discredited the idea (me using hindsight). I felt therefore it needed bringing up here so people could see I'd actually realised just how garbage an idea they actually were. Owning up to them if you will.

Again, who cares if some folks disagree with you? That's a mistake I made, too, so I do understand...but at the end of the day, if they disagree with you, oh well. You know? I doubt the GMs will care enough as long as its not abusive/harassment, insulting, or anything of that nature. Again, it's really not a big deal at the day. If you feel that strongly about it, then just drop the issue and move on to the next one.In my eyes, those ideas were so bad, they warranted a ban from the forums, after seeing the backlash I got from them (and trust me, I did report it to the forum staff, as you can see nothing came of it). Fair enough. I don't see any reason, personally, for one to feel obliged to delete an unpopular post (personally I just delete any of mine where someone said the same thing, but better, so it ends up on the first page or start of the second, or if I accidentally gave misinformation), but if you don't want to be judged by something you've since changed your thoughts on -- on the off-chance that someone saw and remembered it and its poster's name -- then go for it.In my eyes, those ideas were so bad, they warranted a ban from the forums, after seeing the backlash I got from them (and trust me, I did report it to the forum staff, as you can see nothing came of it). I've never had a chance to read what you wrote, but honestly it's just heartening that people are in fact willing to change their thoughts about something. Though I am a bit sad that what felt like bitter backlash was involved in the process.
Just know that if silly ideas were bannable, half this forum would be gone.
