Clipping Issues.

I'm not sure if this has been posted before or pointed out at all.. probably has, but anyway this picture: The part circled in red is really noticeable when moving around. (Only noticed it on Roegadyn so far, since it is the race I mostly play.) The chestpiece in question is the High Mythrite Cuirass of Fending.

I'm pretty sure they stopped legitimately caring about clipping ages ago, if they ever really did at all. At least outside the first year of ARR, anyway.
The gear, the hairstyles, the TAILS, a ton of the stuff we have clips horribly.

They just recently came out with that princess outfit that literally clips with your characters hands when standing still.

Oh I know, it just sucks that some races have it bad, others worse. Like for example that chestpiece isn't all that bad on a smaller race (while I was highlander for a few days I didn't notice it/See it much.) As roegadyn.. had to not see it, but yeah tons of stuff with horrible clips.

So long as people keep coughing up money for outfits that clip horribly, they will continue to provide.

Buying those outfits translates as "I don't care so long as it's nice looking".

Except clipping issues aren’t exclusive to cash shop items - most of the gear since ARR clips horribly with Miqo’te or Au Ra because they stopped actually fashioning clothing to cater to tailed races. This says nothing about long hair clipping through anything that has the slightest of a high collar either - the WHM AF3 gear not only clips with long hair, but also with any WHM weapon visible on a character.

did you read the princess dress threads? One person made a post "there is clipping, and there is not even trying"
(when referring to how the boy set clips into itself and how tails clip though the dress)

ever see a lalafall run around in that moongown thing? lol the feet clip though the dress, didn't care to see if all races did that, most likely does.

Maybe one day we'll get real cloth physics and things will clip less.
