    Is there a way to turn off FATE music?

    It's pretty intrusive when I'm trying to gather herbs for my lunch.

    Nothing more annoying than just passing through and area or gathering in peace, enjoying whatever nice music is playing there and suddenly the aweful FATE music blasting...

    Disclaimer: I might think of the music as "aweful" because I've heard it way to often and most of the time it was unwelcome, because, well, I was gathering...

    I Would Love The Ability To Turn Off Battle Music In The Field & Have The Map BGM Play Instead, It's Nerve-Wracking Really...

    I'm Not The Only One Who Feels This Way Am I ?

    Besides, It's Way More Cooler Battling Monsters While Listening To FFXIV Maps Original BGM

    Personally just turned off all BGM. Turn it on for story and cutscenes, maybe newer dungeons. Otherwise, heard it all enough that it's not worth leaving on.

    2. Launch spotify, itunes or whatever.
    3. Play whatever music you want.
