    Absolutely. That's why the map is always on a 2D plane. Even SE is more woke than majority of the public.

    Aldenard is a continent. Eorzea is a realm consisting of Aldenard, Vylbrand and some smaller island chains. Eorzea is sort of akin to 'Far East' which consists of Othard (continent), Hingashi and stuff.

    But yeah, Hydaelyn is not flat. Only Earth is flat so be careful about ice-skating at the poles, you could fall off the edge of the world and be eaten by space giraffes.
