The fact we still get undyeable stuff at all bothers me, on top of some stuff beginning to have far stricter class locks on them than previous expansions. I would really like for a good majority of undyeable gear to be updated so we may dye them - especially the old ARR hunt gear, off the top of my head. I have wished for this for many years now.

I totally agree with this. We currently have a half-implemented dye system at this point where some gear we can dye, and a good majority we can't. Then you have the problem of SE implementing two versions of items - one dyeable, one not (e.g. High House Bustle / Rainbow Bustle, Falconer's Shirt / Ramie Shirt, Expeditioner's Coat / Dhalmelskin Coat and more!). And then my absolute favorite - the flower corsages.

This is just obscene and unnecessary. @.@ Had they made these dyeable, we would have had ~8 different item models vs. 50+ items.

Need some kind of way to get people to buy more retainers, a lot of people knew for a long time they intentionally bloat inventory to make more retainer sales. Why you think the app locks out more space in the chobobo bag and access option to buy another retainer? They artificially create a need for "premium" services.

I really think this is the big issue. The game has so much item bloat to try to steer people towards retainers it's ridiculous.

Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

This is especially disappointing when we went from the 1st SB dungeon having dyeable gear back to non dyeable for every every non-contest winning dungeon gear =_=

But if all gear was dyeable then they would have to actually invest time into making savage gear again (you know, that stuff that we spend months working towards)
