Also, if there really are people on the special task force, when can we begin getting updates on what they are doing like we did in XI. I still see entire clans of taru rmt's running around, and I have as of yet to hear of a single case of anyone getting banned for botting. I ask because the longer they refuse to do anything about it, the larger the gil problem will be when 2.0 releases.

I don't understand how they could ban you for this until they remove the option in the ffxiv config that says "Enable gamepad when application is in background"

to me, by allowing that they are giving you the ability to watch netflix and spam enter with the game minimized, so they shouldn't penalize you for doing it.

Yes, it shouldn't be a problem. However the only "good or legit" method by SE to detect your bot is sending a tell to you by a GM and not answering. It would make you look guilty at SE "eyes" bc you didnt answer him while you were staring at TV or whatever you were watching.

Good bots answer GMs. Even if SE starts enforcing anything (roflmao AS IF) the only ones being hurt would be the people that use the pad to craft while watching a movie ;D

Taping down the enter key? does that even work? I get once they make crafting two options and super dumb it down. But they did not make crafting interesting at the least and should at least say "sorry for driving you to turbo keying and botting", since honestly I did not bot craft nor turbo craft in other games, this game with its 4 windows before the craft, has driven me to insanity, my 45 wvr is going to sit there for a while until rmts stop farming karakul fleece. In general they effed up the one thing people bot the most just saying. Its not an excuse for people botting but SE should own up that their crap also stinks. No one with an honest to go life and less than 4 cats wants to sit there and spam enter. The way to fix this would be, make it so wait is more useful, I mean crafting by my own hand, I don't even wait through unstable elements. They make it HARD to fail crafts. If it were EASIER to fail crafts, people couldn't even bot. (well some could with advanced bots, but people couldn't turbo) I want a video of one of the devs personally leveling a craft 1-50 by hand, and farming the materials for it, like 3 camera's one on him, one on his hands, one on the screen. If he can do than I guess....we could try.


And I've only considered turboing for synths that give no exp, can we get the autocraft for that, they talked about once maybe happening but probably never, hasty hand is meh.

Good bot don't answer GM, as you may be asked something specific and not just to say "hello! no I swear I'm not AFK!". On XI while fishing, you could be asked to stop fishing, take a step back, /sit and then stand back up, all that upon GM's command.
