Are you saying that the other effects don't work at all in there? That seems weird. I usually eat cheap +crit food, but I never considered that it might be doing nothing in this content...?

I think he’s saying that the benefits of them would be so miniscule that they wouldn’t make much of a difference. It’s hard to say what other stats like Crit and Direct Hit scale like in PotD/HoH, since you cannot look at your proper character menu in there, but if they return to baseline and scale in fixed intervals with the Aetherpool Arm/Armor, then +8% Crit may not be all to big of a difference damage-wise. The only ones that would have a noticeable benefit would be the extra HP from the extra VIT food gives you. But even that would not be terribly significant; could mean the difference between living and dying for anything that isn’t a one-shot, though.

That being said, I don’t see a reason to not use cheap food in there for extra Vitality; I just don’t think it has a great effect on other substats to make it something necessary.

OP, now I'm very curious about this. Would it be too much of an inconvenience to find a way to record something like this and post here? With permission from your party mates, of course. I'm thinking that it might be latency, but hard to say without replicating the factors myself.

Im on PS4, is there a way to record it on those?

PS4 is super easy for saving video - you just press the Share button and it gives you an option to save a video clip of the last 15 minutes. No need to have set up the recording beforehand.

Then you go into (I think) Settings - Storage - Capture Gallery and copy it to USB.

My apologies, I missed your reply, OP. Iscah has the right of it. Use the Share function. You'd have to set it up on your system, but it is pretty simple to set up. I have my Twitter linked for gpose, so I imagine getting it set up for video would be similarly as easy.

Are you watching their actual casting animation, or just the cast bar on the party list? The cast bar on the party list has never been exactly correct for me - it appears after the cast has begun and fills up really quickly, so that bar doesn't match the actual cast time. Compare your actual animation with them.

Does anyone know if any medicine shows any real benefit in POTD and HoH? Like for example Strength Potions.
