I suppose it would be interesting to see DRK get some kind of magic casting spell in the future, something akin to PLD's Holy Spirit. Although one dark magic spell wouldn't cut it to so a couple really would be better as PLD as Clemency as well.

Well supposedly DRK is (don’t quote me on this) getting reworked in 6 months. (Expansion most likely) I think spell casting rotations would be an interesting avenue to explore.

pretty sure they said "for what fans want to do with DRK could take months" and "DRK is under careful consideration" they have said that around 4.3 was out if not a little bit before.

I was rather surprised at SB's launch that PLD was getting attack magic but DRK was getting none. I'm hoping it's as you think and we get some spell casting in the next expansion, because I'd really love to be able to channel the FFXI DRK, if only a little (I miss my stat drain abilities).

Dark Arts isn’t even a Dark Knight thing. It’s a Necromancer skill, and get this, it has elemental magic with status effects. Crazy right? Hopefully they do get some next expansion, but only if it isn’t spam the same button 5 times.
