Where is the "never before seen content"?

YoshiP talked a lot about making "content never before seen in a MMO" and used it as one of the reason we got less dungeons this expac. But here we are close to 4.4 and we still haven't seen it and as far I know it hasn't even be mentioned for quite some time.

Have I missed something or are we still waiting or this content?

Don't expect much new or innovative for FF14. FF14 will be what you're used to year after year and some minor new things thrown in, and will probably maintain the same content formula as long as it's live. Yoshi has to hype something.

Honestly, this is true of 90% of all games and genres. Its actually pretty rare for any genre to have something that makes a huge unique hit. And when it does, it redefines the genre. Could be overdue for that now for MMOs broadly, but probably best not to hold your breath.

To be fair, I thought that part was really cool and quite refreshing. I enjoyed it a lot and I hope they do this more often, although I realize that a lot of people may not enjoy it. But I think it will be an interesting way to tell the story. Now they don't need you present, necessarily, to tell you what's going on - and they can do it without relying entirely on cutscenes. It's quirky and different and personally I love it.
