I think you guys are talking past eachother. Elamys means it is the almost always the same person or persons (i.e. a single account holder) with multiple characters holding multiple FCs, not one FC with multiple houses. I'm pretty sure you already knew that though, and were just being pedantic because you were trying to make the point that you didn't technically break any rules, which you didn't. I do feel it's worth pointing out that SE has tried, granted unsuccessfully, to curb exactly what you apparently did to get your 22 houses.

On topic, I personally like Dustytome's very simple, very effective suggestion:

Also, Dustys' suggestion is very easily bypassed. I mean... deleted characters still count towards the total amount of members

I'm not sure how that would enable a workaround, unless you are saying that a deleted character can still hold the leader position of an FC. If that's the case, that sounds like a bug that needs addressed regardless of the housing situation.

Actually I think this is a reference to the thread where that person has acquired 22 FC houses partially thanks to the fact that the system doesn't check if an account already owns an FC house when leadership rolls over, it only blocks the purchase of new properties.

You can't prevent FCs from being inherited. In my case, I could afford to have the leadership being transferred automatically if they were to ever come up with a "solution" to this "issue". Even if it were to check how many members are in the FC when transferring leadership, it wouldn't change a thing. There's a workaround for the minimum amount of FC members anyway.

Someone once told me I was privileged for being able to spend $70 cad for my 3 active subs. I guess everyone with cable tv should check their privilege.
