Really nice mock-up!
(Tangential...)
With the FFXIV, since 1.18 onward, being so built around the ability to play one and just the one combat job or gear type despite the simultaneous ability to play any job one wants all on a single character... I'm a little surprised Paradigms were never considered as a replacement customization system.
Do you want the healing Lancer (Adept), the pure DPS and burst-heavy Lancer (Dragoon), the supportive Lancer (Cavalier), the defensive Lancer (Vanguard), the sabotaging Lancer (Harrier), or the continuous harassment sustained damage (Wildling)?
Each paradigm has some utility and functionality that extends out of role, with different jobs having "purer" of certain roles than other jobs -- Monk and Warrior being the king Fighters (sustained and chaining damage) and Dragoon and Black Mage the king Attackers (burst and breaking damage), for instance -- but on a single job you could still have access to, in this case, a tank capable of tanking most bosses and any dungeon (quite speedily), an off-healer with some ridiculously fun utility, two flavors of damage-centric roles, and two flavors of team-focused or external-mitigation survivalist roles.
DPS queues? Just swap about as needed while in the instance.
Alas, no matter if the gameplay between each still *felt* more different than any two jobs do now, people would probably complain about the shared bases between the Paradigm roles, followed shortly by which more pure or hybrids roles are meta for which pieces of content...
