    [Suggestion] Item/Character restore purchase service

    I would like to make the suggestion, that item restoration and character restoration, or item exchange should be a service players can purchase after the 1 time free allowance.

    This game is an enormous game, that spans over years upon years of gameplay and experiences.

    There are many instances where items or characters can be deleted or lost, which can easily surpass the 1 time limit. I have read countless articles where someone accidentally discarded an item, more than 1 time, or where someone was pranked by a family member who deleted their character, or where a child was messing around on someones gaming device, the list goes on and on.

    If we were able to purchase say 10$ for a character restore,
    or
    5$ for item restore,

    I dont feel many players would find objection to such a service.

    If "method" would be a concern, I think just how pre-orders work, you could take 1$ for the submission, then the remaining amount upon service completion. Or other such methods. I feel such an option would be quite beneficial to not only Square-Enix, as it would be additional revenue, but also to the players.

    Nah but seriously I imagine it could be a data issue though. I mean essentially everything would need to be backed up by SE in order to be able to retrieve it. In some ways having two sets of the same data but at some point the data can only go so far back. It's kind of similar to when something happens to your PC and you can turn it back to a time before an issue occurred to see if it resolves the problem, but it only gives you so many timeframes to choose from.

    There are a couple of items of from MogStation I discarded in error some time ago that I'll never get back unless I pay for them again, but that's on me and might just try to get them again when there is a sale.
