The "Something Special" for the next Omega Raid Tier, What if...

What it could be for them to made it so highlighted?

What if they came with something Really crazy, like doing the next raid tier into FF7, and Jenova, The Cetra Calamity, being the mightiest one. At the end of the Fight, Omega values her the mightiest one he could ever create, and takes her form and launches itself into the Universe, landing into Gaia, and thus explaining the begining of FF7. That would be awesome, but crazy.

Well, leaving the super crazy thing, I think it will be Numbers, Gaia (And her weapons), Sephiroth (Controlled by Jenova), and Omega (Taking the best of all creations).

What do you think?

maybe Omega will be the 5th turn and the special part is that there is a 5th turn.

Wasn't similar language used before The Creator and it ended up being the ride on Cruise Chaser? Between that, Anemos and HoH 30+, you should assume the worst and be surprised instead of hyping yourself up for disappointment

Maybe the "Something Special" will be us fighting Omega outside the Interdimensional Rift.

Hmm, I can't remember if it was here or fc chat or reddit maybe but I recall someone suggesting if we do get FF7, making Sephiroth the final battle O12 and having him overpower Omega (potentially with jenova) we come out on top (aiding Omega essentially) and recognises us as the top of the food chain basically. Then once finished we have a separate trial to face him down in what would essentially be an O13. it wouldn't be accessible via Trial DF or Roulette as it would be placed under Raid.

I like that idea as it would seem unfair that the others get 4 battle but FF7 (or whatever takes the spot) gets 3 as the final is with Omega. keeps he final showdown with Omega as a separate entity.

Another alternative but similar was to have Omega as the next Ultimate fight and cross story from omegascape o Ultimate but that's pretty much been shot down now with the ultimate scheduling.

We fight Sephiroth, Ultimecia, Kuja and Omega and they're all O4S and O8S tier.

If the next tier is FFVII, I don’t see them making Sephiroth the third fight; they’d have to make it the fourth fight (Sephiroth > Safer Sephiroth, following the Exdeath > Neo / Kefka > God Kefka pattern), and then make Omega a fifth fight, which I would be fine with. I just don’t think they’d be able to do vanilla Sephiroth without Safer and not receive backlash for it. I’d imagine Jenova would be the third fight—I wonder how they’ll do it? Her going through her various forms [LIFE, BIRTH, DEATH, SYNTHESIS] or just sticking with one—and the first two are a bit up in the air for me; I’m not sure which two they would choose for it.

Of course, they could end up not doing FFVII, but I doubt it considering FFVII Remake and the FanFest theme obviously being VII.

I'm still kinda hoping they don't do 7 (I think the last tire will be super/hidden bosses and Omega), but if they did do it with it being 5 fights would Sepiroth be around the difficultly of Neo/Godka and Omega something like Midas?

My working theory is we will get a standard four fight tier based on FFVII and a fifth fight in 4.5 with potentially a higher difficulty, yes. Without Ultimate, they need something to keep people interested, especially through what will likely be a long drought otherwise. This would be a good way of accomplishing that.
