How are you communicating, are you trying to do it through the Say, Party, FC or maybe the NN channels? Some players may have filters that means they don't see everything that is said, or perhaps they have blocked an individual which would also prevent any messages showing from that person.
I'm not sure I'm just writing in the Say (general) chat box that's in my left corner
as I also do when I'm in the Dungeons and there it works i thinks, i belave they have written back to me when I've written to them sometime.
Ok well the Say Channel only has a certain range to it. So in normal areas let's say Kugane, if you Say something at the markets then a player outside the Inn won't hear it (or get the message). Something like Shout covers the entire area, and in duties anyone can see what you use Say for (i think unless they need to be in the vicinity as well?). The Party, Alliance, FC etc channels are better for chatting with friends, it's just a matter of using the right channel depending on the situation.

ah so if I understand it's not there I have to communicate/ chat outside a Dungeon. I am most of the time in cross-world partys
I'm not so familiar in the channels, which channel is only for write with party members then?
Alright so if you are in a party (especially if it's Cross World) you would use the Party channel to speak specifically to everyone in the party at that time. You can select the channel manually or use /p then your message straight after and it will go to the Party.
If you wanted to chat with Free Company members, you would use the FC channel for that. Say is essentially is for the vicinity around you so anyone nearby will see the message. Shout anyone in the area will receive the message regardless if you are in a party with them or not. There is Yell as well but can't remember what makes that different to Shout.
You can quickly decide who you want to talk to by including the text commands before whatever you want to say.
/s Hello!
This will only talk to players standing nearby
/p Hello!
This talks with party members no matter where they are.
/b Hello! /n Hello!
These talk to the Novice Network only.
Command shortcuts exist for all types of chat channels. Be mindful who you're speaking to!
