... I literally just said it in the very paragraph. A primarily white neighborhood will have less people have other ethnicity. A video game may simply choose to have a story told a certain way. FFXV wanted to tell a "Band of Brothers" tale. Is it sexist that by doing so, they elected not to have a female playable character?

You're the one that mentioned statistics. Where are they? You're the one accusing "SJWs" of making up racism and sexism issues. Where's this proof? "The onus is on you" is complete and utter garbage to hide the fact you have absolutely nothing to back up your own points.

The difference is I owned up to the fact I didn't have any screenshots and only had my word. I acknowledged what people posted. You're claiming to have evidence, and you insisted any claim without evidence is insubstantial in that very thread. So where is it?

In response to your demographic claims—which were ultimately wrong, by the way. You initially cited New York, though, apparently, you meant the city. Okay. There remains a white majority, 44.6%. Only black Americans are above half. Putting that aside, the onus is on you to prove racism. Where is your evidence? This is literally you accusing someone of stealing your computer than demanding they prove they didn't instead of providing some sort of evidence they did.

Alas, if you want proof. Look no further than the BLM movement who claimed non-violence yet shouted "die pigs die". How about Linda Sarsour, proud feminist who supports Sharia Law? Or Anita Sarkeesian, arguably the most prominent accuser of sexism in video games yet she's been debunked numerous times. Now before you go on accusing me of dismissing racism or sexism entirely. None of these people or movements mean it doesn't exist. It simply depicts a bias, especially in media coverage.

I want more options for features and skin tones. But I stayed out of this thread, because the language in the OP emphasized that the creators don't like blacks.

I certainly wouldn't have objected. I don't have a problem with people requesting representation or more fleshed out character creation.

Nor does any of that support what you say. All you've done is name some figures in various movements. What does that have to do with racism being incorrectly perceived as a problem? You admit yourself their existence doesn't negate the existence of these issues, so what does?

You're funny. Because that was her initial post. Now you're just making her out to be a villain.

So, I've been tempted to use a Fantasia, and change from Miqo'te, so I started playing around with the character creation, and the lack of diversity is abysmal. I wanted to make a Hyur female, but I can't help but notice there isn't much wiggle room. There's only one cute braided mohawk style, and some dookie dreads. Where are the curly or even kinky hair styles? There are no flat twists, no cornrows, no box braids, no senegalese twists, no two strand twists, etc. I thought there was an afro option, but I didn't see that either. Under the nose options, there's are no truly wider options (I'm not saying the nose has to take up the entire face). There are no larger fuller lips. Skin tones run either cool or red, and there are absolutely no yellow undertones. Many of the little boxes on the skin color grid are virtually indistinguishable from the ones at least four spaces from them vertically, making them a waste. On brown skin tones, this makes the character appear ashy and in severe need of lotion. Skin tone alone is not diversity. Sure you can make your character Sudanese black, but if the nose and lips are slim and thin, is it really a black person? No.

Releasing multiple hairstyles is cute, but when are we going to get some new faces, noses, lips, and eyebrows that don't harken back to the late 90s and early 2000s? There's nothing wrong with a thicker brow.

I bring this up, because there are many black and brown people who play this game, yet the character creation only caters to one demographic for the most part, and that's white. Ironically, I don't even see Asian faces despite this being a Japanese game. So you mean to tell me that my black and brown friends are good enough to receive a subscription from, but not good enough to have the character creation cater to them as well?

I'm biracial (black mom, Russian dad) and while I'm not dark skinned I don't have thin lips and sharp facial features.

I already know some people are going to be in their feelings about this, and that's fine.

Now it seems you're just trying to screw her rep. Saying she said and didn't say certain things and that's not cool. She was very clear on what she asked for in the OP and she wrote her entire post THEN went on a small piece about race. You cherry-picked that one piece and decided get mad about it. You don't want to talk about black features and hairstyles and how they could work, what styles we could have and how they would look. That's where we were back at pages 31-37(?). It was nice too. You're only here to further detail this thread into a place filled with hate and bickering over nothing and you must love it or else you'd go away. As SOON as the drama started again you and many others reappeared to continue stirring trouble. Want this thread to die? Go away then. You're not helping anyone. OP this OP that. OP isn't even HERE. Hasn't been here for multiple pages. She can't even defend herself as it is. And yet you guys still ride the OP hate train and for what? What is it? We are on page 47 who cares what the OP said.

We were attempting to salvage the thread and talk about the actual subject and you people ruined that/are ruining that. Lunaxia for bringing it up. And all of you for pouncing back in at the slightest chance to get back in to the drama. I wonder how Nandina's going to feel when she comes back to see her thread delved back into hate.
