I dont want to have a game where everyone is a capped out crafter.
Where would your profit/customers come from?
Crafting should be a pain in the ass, so only the insane players do it and feel good about themselves.

Im with Lucy- er Lucious<3333 Crafting isn't supposed to be easy I like some to be deterred from leveling then because that's who buys. if everyone's 50 DoH's then everyone makes their own stuff, and the market is obsolete. It isnt hard to hit enter a bunch of times if your lazy and its not hard to bold if your trying to HQ. I see nothing wrong with the crafting system as it is, I liked the changed they made to it last time they fixed it and im happy with that.
Honestly there's already too many crafters in this game, and most of them hate crafting. Please don't make this any easier..

Ah, but will facing north-by-northeast at 2:45 a.m. while the moon is a waning crescent result in a 27% increase in your chances to synthesize HQ mythril ingots!? That is real the question! ~Fernehalwes~
I fully agree with the 2 posts above. If everyone can do everything, you eliminate the need for a community. Keeping people more diversified is how you bring more people together. Its really sad how many players have Rank 50 everything in this game, and it makes the game boring. You now have less people to help or need help from.
Please SE Re-Think this whole "SUPER EASY EXP" modes with all classes. This isn't just limited to DoH, but also DoL, DoW and DoM. If everyone is everything, everyone feels useless.
Bumping this thread to talk about the other possible crafting changes such as referenced by a Reinhart translation.
You cannot select materials to craft a recipe, you have to select the recipe name.
Can only perform recipe if your character learns it.
Recipes may be learned via leveling, leves, or quests.
Yoshi-P hinted at this long ago, but I don't think any of us put two and two together to realize this was what he was thinking. I don't know how I feel about the change just yet. I can see benefits and negatives to both the current way and the proposed way.Bumping this thread to talk about the other possible crafting changes such as referenced by a Reinhart translation.

I do feel, if they make this change, that those of us who have been crafting all this time should be grandfathered in and be awarded every recipe we have ever made.
