Main reason why I dont do savage anymore is because finding group take more effort than clearing the content as caster.

Ain't see a problem with finding casters. Before maintenance, I was in a party with a RDM and SMN.
It was nice 'cause no BLM.
Now finding parties that aren't memeing with no duplicates this late in the tier even on progression is another story.
It's not that there are a shortage of casters. The problem is finding a reliable caster player who can output a substantial amount of dps and make use of the tools that the caster role chosen provides.

I think it is mainly because of gearing system in this game. Casters share same gear, ranged same, monk/sam same, drg and ninja have their own separated set. If you want your group gear fast as possible you wanna use 1 caster, 1 ranged, and what ever two of melees that not have samurai and monk on the same party.
*walks up to a static*
Me: Kick your caster. I'm in.
DRG lying down: I'm married to the BLM IRL but I'm all for it!
PLD admiring self: Hey! I'm shiny. I make all the decisions! You're in.
BLM: D:
Of course, I'm joking. No one would really do that. I think.
