Will more crafting items be added for all level ranges, and for magic dis.?

I am new to the game and I want to level magic class to start out with, I picked up weaving because it makes sense to me that caster gear would be found under weaving since that is what most casters wear. But to my dismay there is no caster gear to be made with weaving said for a Hempen Coif of casting, everything else has crafting stats. Also there aren't a lot of options to craft, or the options that are interesting cant be used by a cnj/thm so was wondering/hoping that more items to be crafted for casters are going to work there way in soon. Thank You

P.S. is making dated items bad? It seems like there are a lot more options with dated items and I might just do that.

Surely there are plenty of Disciple of Magic clothes to be made by Weavers o.o Most of them even.

I think the thing is, at low levels, they kind of share gear with crafters - the Dalmatica line, for instance. But casters generally use robes and half-robes, as well as the 'Hat' line of gears. The only caster-primary gear that isn't made by weavers are their weapons, primarily made by carpenters. .. Well, okay, and their shoes and some of their belts being a Leatherworker thing.

And no, making Dated items isn't bad - some players will even prioritise getting them. Dated gear tends to be a bit weaker than current gear overall, but it also operates under the old optimal system, meaning it can be worn freely regardless of class and level (as opposed to just class on most of the non-'of X' gear) with scaling penalties. Some players prefer that convenience, although the Dated recipes are scheduled to be removed from the game and any dated stuff remaining treated as legacy items.

Don't forget shoes! Mages literally have nothing specifically for them in the Lv41~50 level range (except u/u shoes).

I know they are planning to add more gear at lower levels since it's pretty sparse then. Once you can start making gear in the 20's you should be able to make Mage-oriented gear. Looking at mooglebox, Cotton Dalmatica (and other pieces of its "set") and its mage variant are L21 CNJ/THM and it is a L23 Weaver recipe. You could theoretically attempt it at L13 Weaver but it will probably be around L15+ before you will be able to safely succeed. Of course if you only want to make one you can just try multiple times with the materials you have at your disposal. You will probably have a good amount of them if you level through leves.

Ugh don't remind me... Pattens are so ugly. I miss Moccasins, they at least hid the stupid mage pants when wearing a robe =P
