I'm surprised no one has said Maintenance yet.
Calcabrina was the first thing to come to mind.
But then I remembered that one cutscene where Edda appeared out of thin air just outside the Deepcroft and I legit got the chills.
The only thing that ever creeped me out in this game:

This. There are some monster designs, like say the last boss of Shisui that are 'gross' or some that are 'cool' looking, but this is really the only instance where a design right out creeped me out. Even the preview image from fanfest of this boss creeped me out.
Al in all I don't find the game scary, which is fine it's not like this is a horror game.
The Mahjong Tutor...
Look at those eyes...they've seen things...they've done things... >A>
Only thing in the game to really like make me creeped out is the entire fight with Edda and Avere in Tamtara HM.
First time hearing that song in game, the candles around the ring, the dead bodies crawling to the center brings panic, but mainly Edda's laughing/crying throughout the fight.
The squirrels outside Gridania... I mean, if actual squirrels were like that we’d be extinct...
The rest of it... just monsters here and there. But the squirrels are everywhere
