Monsters That Creep You Out in FFXIV

The question being - did the Allagans develop these creatures from lalafells, or did they make lalafells from these?..

The theory goes that the Allagans made these by combining some other fish with a popoto and some aetherochemicals (as a means for finding a potential food source), and Lalas descended from the mess.

Also, the scenario may or may not involve the earliest lalas running amok and sabotaging some instruments or machinery, causing as much as Syrcus Tower to go haywire, trigger an earthquake, and collapse the Allagan Empire.

These guys, I hate anything that has a design where they walk with their "hands" and have tiny legs, it unsettles me.

Seconding everyone else, the Dhamels are literally the worst, most disgusting monster. I get shivers whenever I see one.

But I also really dislike the Antlion enemies. The other bug-type enemies don't bother me, but the Antlion enemies are just... a little too close to the real thing... They are definitely on my list of "things to fly away from really fast."

A lot of people here seem unsettled by dhalmel. I should fight one sometime and see if I was missing something creepy about their animations.

Also, regarding antlions, those ones in The Fringes that stay underground kinda made me wary the first time I saw them. I thought they'd get a sucker punch on you if you got too close.
