In any situation if the pet is set to Obey, it will attack the first target you are attacking and stay on that one unless you change otherwise. If the original target dies then the pet will attack the next eneny you are attacking. I mean if you have a party it's not difficult to manage your pet is just like normal duty, but if it was solo like Eureka then yes some players may avoid summoning Bahamut as the aggro goes straight to the caster. But the battle stance will always be whatever you left it in either Sic or Obey etc. If you think you'll get hit by a random aoe then just get the pet to Follow you (Steady), not attacking till you are ready to engage.
