HoH Emp weapons cost too much

So I have to dump my entire aetherpool for 1 -- 365 weapon? The first tier of weapons in POTD cost 30, Second tier 60 ( being 90 total) why is this first tier more than both of the previous tiers from the previous.

There is only 1 tier. Its not that bad to get them either, i've been casually doing it and i'm over 60 already. I haven't even gone above floor 40 yet.

for now, there is only one tier but I still think it costing 99 aetherpool is too much

you don't buy it all at once, you just knock yourself 10 every time you get to 99/99 or if you just do 30 probably 60-70 would be enough to make a grip without impacting your power inside

I wouldn't mind the increased cost if the blues at least guaranteed some growth.
But when you have to get more than triple the aether you needed in potd. It's even more annoying when every blue ches you see blows up in your face.

I wouldn't mind needing 100 aether if every blue chest guaranteed at least 1 point.. But to increased cost So much and still have them blow up so frequently is a bit of a douche move

I wouldn't even bother with the weapons from HoH (unless you like how they look) given Eureka will be far faster if the last installment was any indication. Its the same reason I never bothered farming Tsukuyomi EX. Got my clear and moved on.

They do seem a little pricey for what you're getting. Although I feel like they also made leveling up your weapon faster than it was in PotD.

i'm already at +99 arms and armour within a day or two, i can get one now if i wanted, and thats just by farming 21 to 30 and not going beyond 30 due to there fixed party only rule.

i think the pricing is ok for what it is, getting to +100 dosnt seem that difficult. (at least for HoH, PotD on the other hand,...)

I don't think its that they cost too much, but there are unintended consequences from it.

1. The +10/10 is actually convenient, but the flip side is that it makes it more monotonous since you no longer need to grind lower floors to power it up. You get to 40/40 or something, then just spam 21-30 nonstop, turning it in every 2 runs or so.
2. You simply cannot turn it in if you want to do challenge floors. So again, you have to spam one floor.
3. The amount of aetherpool i get varies from 5/5 to 10/10 a set of floors, meaning 10-20 runs to get one weapon. This is a lot more constant I think, and adds to monotony.

I mean, the cost is high but ok, but the other things make it a lot more of a grind than it should be.

When POTD first came out 30/30 was the max and you had to pay that for a single weapon at 235 ilvl, when floors 51+ came out they raised the cap to 99/99 and you needed to pay an additional 60/60 to upgrade it to 255. So overall we’re paying 100/100 at the onset for a weapon that’s on par ilvl wise with the current EX primal. So unless they plan on letting us augment these the current cost is only slightly higher than the previous and you don’t have to completely burn your aetherpool levels in order to get it due to the grips. Personally the only issue I have with them is that it’s a 365 weapon released so late into the patch cycle, most people would have the EX primal weapon or an upgraded tome weapon assuming they don’t raid and have diamond.
