Another interesting point that I haven't seen anyone mention:

I am POSITIVE Yoshi-P said that getting all HQ mats would not only guarantee HQ, but would be the only way to HQ
Meaning having all NQ mats, or even most HQ and 1 NQ mat would always result in an NQ item.
I wondered what changed between then and now?

3 more interesting questions to discuss....

1. What happens when you use 1 or 2 HQ mats in a recipe that requires 4 or 5 ingredients?

2. Getting quality to 100% HQ rate, how is that balanced relative to how many abilities you have?
For instance.. If I have only Armorer to 50, but he is well geared, will I be able to guarantee HQ most crafts? If so, then having all 50's and having all abilities will make your HQing extremely easy

3. Will 50 crafters be able to guarantee 100% HQ on all recipes under 40?
If so, what are the in game implications of this?

1) the same thing that happens now, your starting quality will start much higher
2) you have to actualy get to the max quality to get 100%, somehow i dont think thatl be easy regardless, and itl take several abilities to do so and some luck and being careful

Im thinking like a Level 24 synth and you are a 50 crafter using all NQ mats... I bet you could get your HQ percentage pretty darn high

if you get it to 500, thats 10% chance which is actualy higher then we can get it now with 300 quality(im guessing 500 will be the new 300 when this hits)

right now its closer to a 5-10% chance when you get over 300 quality as is, so id say itl be about the same with all nq mats

HOWEVER if you find a way to push it higher itl only go up, so if you can do that....then yeah higher chance, problem is you eventualy hit 100% progress and thatl be where your journey ends
