You might have to stack more than single materia to see a difference.

It's like going from 260 str to ~279, not much difference, but when you get to ~280+ you see a bump.

So gather as much + magic pot. you can find for your PUG then attack naked, then attack fully equipped. Then start to remove small numbers if possible to see what the magic number is.

I get what you are saying but I do not have the kind of money to just test something I will most likely find no benefit in. I don't know how expensive elemental potency materia is on your server but on Fabul its outrageously expensive. Probably explains why it seems no one has an answer to this question.
