Can we get a friends list update?

As the title says. People have for a while asked for a blacklist update, and I couldn't find anything on a friends list update "except asking to show users last login date". So, could we perhaps maybe bump up the amount of people you can have on your friends list? With more people coming into the game, cross world friends, and just being a in an MMO I have started to fill my friends list up. Now, I'm not saying I'm full, but last time I really checked and paid attention it was around 50, now its over 100. I think it would be cool to get the limit bumped up even maybe just 25 more slots. What are you guys thoughts? Other updates you would like to the friends list? If I could add something else, I would say to add them into groups "I know you can (mark) them" and name the marked lists, but I'm talking about some sorta sub tab where you can filter through them all.

I can't say i really need more friends. I've had people add me after stuff, only to never be in contact again. I usually remove them after a few weeks, so my list stays pretty small.

The worst part is opening your FL up and it doesn't update to show which friends are online and you have to press that stupid little button on each of them

Yeah I would love the friendlist to have a Last logged in like the FC roster has. As i suspect i have a lot of friends who has not been logged in for years, but i am not sure if i have just missed them being online so I dont remove them.

Mobile games have better friendlist than FF XIV does.
But I guess FF XIV isn't an MMO, so you don't need to play with others... Oh wait.

fixing the friendslist would mean doing work on the engine. they hate making improvements.

That'd be great.... this game has one of the worst friends list I've ever seen.
Surprisingly enough, other MMOs like TERA got it perfect for me. In case you don't know how it worked, it was more or less like this:

• Allows you to create named folders and organize your friends by your own categories, and move them around whenever you want
• You could add a private note for each friend, which I personally used to know where I met them or what content they like to do in case I need to fill up a party, or note down which alt belongs to who lol
• It also showed basic information about them like the last time they logged in and their class (since TERA only allowed one class per character, but I guess XIV could do the same by grabbing the main job set in the adventurer plate)
• Not exactly related to the friends list, but you would get a chat notification with a little bell sound whenever someone in your list logged in. I could imagine it'd get annoying quickly if you have a lot of friends, so it could be set up through the friend groups we already have in the game. Say, only friends marked with ♥ get a chat notification with sound. Those marked with ★ only get a chat notification, without the sound. Stuff like that?

Nowadays I end up removing anyone I don't recognize, since my friends list is already bloated with friends' alts and people from the other DC which never appear online anyways. At this point, just having the list auto-update would be great lol
