I hope they expand on the random open world chests. so far they are just in the strongholds and that low level dungeon. I hope to see them pop up randomly in places like they did in leves. why? i like random treasure

I was thinking about this the other day. Also give opening a treasure chest animation a little bit more luster.
And hopefully these wont require keys and if they do make it scale similarly to that dungeon. brass keys drop on low level mobs in the area, iron key drops mid, silver for 30-40ish gear and gold big chests for the high level players
or no keys at all for the chests that just contain money and only the high level key drop in the same zone. but hopefully no more keys to hog space

it would also help exploration if say archer or upcoming thief can get an ability similar to Land class that tells you where the treasure is. but in a big tough zone people rarely go to have a big meaty gold chest randomly there to make it seem like it was worth going to an area not many people would bother exploring

i hope theres risk to gain in some circumstances. Im thinking booby traps and mimics as good examples.
Thumbs up.
Also: mimics.
i miss camping coffer keys in ffxi and then spending forever looking for chest. Those were some great times if they were going to add in some open world cheats think they should do it something like that because theres no need to fix what's not broke.

Yeah. In my opinion, make the keys easier to obtain than finding the chest itself.
It'll encourage exploration and immersion into otherwise unexplored regions. (Most useful for when zone revamp is implemented)
