Every time I play the game, it will crash after a few minutes. The crash produces green symbols to appear in the entire screen, and a minute later it returns to the desktop with a DX Error 11000002. This error started to appear two weeks ago. It has never happened before and I've been playing for several years, in the same machine that I use now.

Computer Specs: GTX 1080 / Core i9-7900X / 32 GB RAM
Nvidia Graphics Driver: 398.36 (latest)
OS Version: Windows 10 10.0.17134 Build 17134 (latest)

- It only happens with FFXIV. Any other game works perfectly fine.
- Performing a clean graphics driver install doesn't fix it. Rolling back to a previous version didn't fix it either.
- Performing a clean Windows 10 reinstall doesn't fix it. I wiped out the partition and reinstalled from external disc to make sure with no luck.
- It is not a hardware problem. Temperatures are good, voltages are good, and I performed several CPU and GPU stress tests to verify that my computer is working in perfect order (FurMark, Unigine, Prime95, etc., all pass).
- I have no active overlay programs. Tested without Discord, Steam, Geforce Experience installed.
- Windowed / Borderless / Fullscreen all present the same error.
- Maximum / High / Standard graphics presets all present the same error.
- The error occurs in a 4K, 1440p, and 1080p monitor.
- The error occurs both while using the keyboard + mouse and a gamepad.
- The error occurs both in 60 HZ and 144 HZ monitors.
- The error occurs both while using g-sync and without it.
