Leveling roulette for me is almost never "random". Its typically the same dungeon 2-4 days in a row, then it switches for another few days, and so on. The past couple days its been stuck on Toto-Rak. That's queueing with an ilvl of about 358. Trials is usually pretty random now, it used to be Ramuh, Thornmarch, or Bismarck 99% of the time.
75% of time when use leveling got the vault for it. Once got it 6 days in a row. Just glad I don't need to run them anymore.

It feels like it definitely can give you anything but is weighted towards certain ones.
What causes that is anyone's guess

From my understanding, removing gear to lower your ilevel only helps for keeping you out of dungeons/trials with a minimum ilevel requirement, and I don't think the leveling dungeons have that.
My main issue with getting put back into low level dungeons is the effect on your melee combo - since it's only a two-hit combo in the lower levels, you settle back into that pattern - and then if you go run a higher roulette afterwards it's hard to remember to go back to using your third attack again.
Also, red mage's "jump back after melee combo" skill gets learned quite late, so you get into bad habits with that if you start leveling it through roulette. It took me a long time to remember to use it.
That's part of why I really like alliance roulette. If nothing else you're guaranteed access to all your level 50/60 skills.

Indeed - and 50/60 dungeon roulette as well.
I'd like 50/60 more if it gave more exp. It only rewards maybe a third of what leveling and alliance do.
Should be self explained you'd think.... It's random.

It’s a roulette... that’s the nature of a roulette... it can be anything....
