Some Bard end game melding questions - what to meld?

Hello everyone. i've been sitting on quite a bit of combat materia for a while & I've nearly got a full set of 360 gear on my bard now (still need accessories) so I thought why not do some melding to add to my stats a bit. So should I even bother? You can't overmeld the 360 set or anything & I know new gear will eventually come out but I hate always saving them for later which never comes since there's always a new later. So first of all 1. Should I even bother melding this gear? 2. If so what should be my priorities or numbers to aim for?

    My current stats are:
    Dex: 2699
    Vit: 2065
    HP: 41,899
    Crit: 1278
    Det: 1106
    DH: 1376

Any ideas or suggestions? Or better yet any good guides that are current. I'll admit I'm a bit lost when it comes to end game stats/melding. I finally just got my head around my crafting/gathering and how to do that and now I'm trying to figure out the dps part of it all. Any and all help will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Stat priority for BRD should be Crit > D.Hit > Det. Do not meld Skill Speed; BRD doesn't care for it that much. A piece of gear has Crit as the highest substat? It's typically what you want. And anywhere you can meld Crit, meld it. BRD is so dependent on Crit with regards to its Repertoire mechanic, there is a BiS that sacrifices main stat for a 360 Tome ring and a 350 pentamelded bracelet. Crit VIs and Cracked Clusters are so easy to get, there's not much reason to not meld.

For guides, it's not "recent", but it is the main BRD guide out there: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...k4/mobilebasic

Very in-depth with a lot of rotational advice and theorycrafting. Especially handy if you want to start trying your hand at endgame content (Savage). I don't think it has been updated with any current BiS, but you can always play around on Ariyala to determine which gear and which melds will get you the biggest bang for your buck, even if you never plan to touch Savage.

Thank you'll so much for all of the good information. Sorry it took me so long to reply. Been having some pc problems. Got that fixed now....finally.

And yeah, i plan to start trying Savage soon. I just wanted to get my gear as good as I can before I go in. I'd hate to be the one moron that causes everyone to wipe over and over. Sigmascape SAvage looks brutal.
