The camera zoom has to be much higher to be able to see raid actions like on Ridorana lighthouse for players who have motion sickness and can't turn the camera up down left right all the time whitout needing a bucket next to their pc to puke in.

Will definitely agree especially with the amoung of things that happen at height or even outside the arenas. Like famfrit spinning tbe water casket you simply can not see unless jour standing on his toes because otherwise it's off the top of the screen.and if you pan the camera down then you lose visibility on ground aoes,
Would also help for things like kefka susano and others where visual cues for mechanics aren't even in the arenas but somewhere outside and then people wonder why they go unnotticed so much because they're way off camera.
I agree, this is a sticking point for me. It is very frustrating to not be able to zoom out further and see the arena. Coming from other mmo's this is very jarring.
It could be useful yes and put legit people on a level playing field with people who use a camera hack to already do this. iirc dev responded already and it's difficult to do because the game was designed with this camera distance and if it were changed there may be areas that you see things you're not supposed to see.
If thats the case thered be nothingvto stop them having a visual indicator on the ground. It could be useful yes and put legit people on a level playing field with people who use a camera hack to already do this. iirc dev responded already and it's difficult to do because the game was designed with this camera distance and if it were changed there may be areas that you see things you're not supposed to see.
In the case of famfrit for example having an arrow on his target circle showing which direction the urn is facing might help. Or just telegraph it.. have quarter of the arena lit up and rotate kinda like angra maiyu in wod...
If the game is designed at thatmax camera distance though they need to make sure players can actually see what they need to see. Which they pretty much failed on with famfrit because Evan at maximum zoom the urn goes way off the top of the screen.
That's pretty much a design failure

Like Aoe without having to turn the cam all the time... tbh, its just a lazy way of making the game harder, there is no other reason. Besides, ppl with super-wide displays already see more...
They could stop making every boss 200 feet tall. I know the boss needs to stand out from the players but is it really necessary to force everyone to play at max zoom and make player characters so small you can hardly see them just to fit one enemy on the screen?
