Character Configuration, UI Settings, General, "Display achievements nearing completion upon login." Except mine is off and they still show up when I log in, so whatever.

There is currently no way that this option can be removed. Something we'll need to complain about until JP sees the error of their ways.

Same here. Get rid of it please. And the achievement notice in the corner of the screen each time I teleport into an area where I have achievements not fulfilled. If I wanted to complete the achievements/see where I am on them, I would just look them up myself.

This is so annoying. It's a distraction that pops up and counts down at me with every area change and it makes me very unhappy. Why is this being forced on us? It's fine to make it an option, but I personally don't know anyone that wants this and forcing us all to see it a thousand times a day just makes me wonder about what other games are out there.

Count me in with the complaint OP. Its nice to have such a list but if you make such changes please also put an option in, where people can turn it off.

Oh FFS that's irritating. I didn't really observe it until now because I've mostly been bouncing around in cities, which don't seem to display it (and I'm also on my laptop with a generally smaller screen than I'm used to). Yeah, get rid of this SE, or include an option to disable these notifications. I'm not at all sure why this wasn't lumped into the existing 'Recommendations' feature, too; the Notifications UI element has never been used for things of this nature.
