Launcher fails to complete version check.

I'm using Windows 10 Home version 10.0.17134 Build 17134
When I try to open the game the "Checking the FINAL FANTASY XIV Updater/Launcher version." window hangs around for maybe thirty seconds or so and then it gives me the "Unable to complete version check. [30605][20448][10009][10019]" message. None of the standard solutions have worked for me (messing with the .cfg, turning off firewall, simply restarting the router) and I've noticed that the specific numbers I get in my error message are different from those on the other posts I've been able to find. To be clear, this game has worked for about a week or so before this happened.

edit: forget that, it turned out to be tied to an internet outage that was only affecting some of my connections. Originally made this post in the case that that fix wouldn't fix it. Please disregard.
