Please enforce the rules set in the Terms of Service.

Section 2.2 of the terms of service reads...

Real Money Trading, Farming and Power-Leveling. You may not sell, purchase or exchange for real-world money or value any in-game currency, accounts, characters, in-game services, or in-game virtual items. You may not play the Game for the purpose of acquiring virtual items or advancement in game play on behalf of a third-party or for the purpose of selling any virtual assets to a third party for real-world money, specifically including "gold-farming" and power-leveling services.

Yet real money traders in the party finder menu run rampant, selling completed runs of current content, including savage and ultimate. This is not enforced at all and no accounts have been banned or punished as a result of this.

I mean...... if the same players are still active, don't you think that maybe, just maybe, they are not violating the ToS.

Just think about it, GMs take violations serious and if you or others reported them and were found of RMT or violating any of the ToS rules, they would be warned, suspended or banned by now? Let's think smart before posting. Can't say SE doesn't do anything when you can't see for yourself what they actually do. Also, you may want to look at what they do everyday, every week on the lodestone for RMT and other Illicit activities. I'll post the link for you

Unless it specifically states that they are selling runs ect for actual cash there isn't anything they will do about it. All you see is ppl asking to discuss over discord since se can't do anything about it. Do we know that's what they are doing, yep, but unless there is confirmation in game there's nothing they'll do about it.

Hmm I've seen those party however they are not requesting real money they are requesting in-game currency. Those who don't you need proof in order to report them. recorded convo, text, duty recorder is a good way to catch them.

I can understand why these guys don't get banned because anything that happens outside of the game is basically outside of the jurisdiction of the GMs/STF, which is unfortunate because they generally offer links directly to a page that lists the prices they're trying to sell content at.

What I'd love to know is why like 99% of the bots in the game seem to have ban immunity and never get punished no matter how obvious they are or how often you report them.

It's well-documented at this point that the only type of ToS violations that tend to be addressed in a timely manner (If at all) are ones that are recorded in the chat log or some other readily accessible resource, such as verbal harassment. Anything that requires a more thorough "investigation" such as botting or hacking is seldom ever acted against.

The tiny amount of bans for botting being issued on a weekly basis is really unacceptable when I've seen as many bots on my server alone as the total amount of players being banned across all of the servers together. I'd reckon there's probably several hundred of them across all of the servers and they're generally using the same programs and thus exhibiting identical behavior, so I don't see why they'd have so much trouble dealing with them.

Yes, they're doing something, but they aren't doing enough. It's also worth noting that most of the RMT-related bans are done against totally automated bots that are created faster then the GMs can actually ban them, so it ultimately accomplishes almost nothing. They need to find a more permanent solution to the matter if they truly want to curb the RMT, but even if they get rid of the expendable bots, it's well-known that "legit" players sell gil, often through heavy reliance on level 70 DoL/H bots, so those need to go as well, particularly because they tend to destabilize the economy through market flooding and rampant undercutting.
