[Suggestion] Can we have a re-breather mask for underwater immersion?

If you check the story telling, the fact that you can breath underwater is because of a magic.

So there is no need for that.

I like the fact that they didn't forget that whole "Can breathe underwater" thing at Rabanastre's first boss by specifically stating that it's the poison in the water that's suffocating you, not the water itself.

Didn't we do an entire bit of quest line in Stormblood to explain why we don't need this?

I think these would just break my immersion from the game's story. :V

There are people who use it in-game, most likely. Garleans, for the most part, as they'd never pact with the Kami for their blessing. Given how there's no underwater combat, however, I don't see them bothering with making it an actual thing.

Either people don't put attention to the story line or are just ignorant. It has been explained on why.

I'd be okay with having one and support it. Just because I know there's plenty of people who enjoy having their characters exist outside the main story quest. So for them the blessing from the pact never happened, neither did the whole Warrior of Light vanquisher of primals come to pass. I personally know lots that just enjoy creating their own stories that don't involve including themselves in anything in the MSQ.

If they tried to cater to characters whose stories are outside the MSQ they'd never be done. Everyone'd want something or another and when they're done with this angry mob, another one would come up. The only way for them to win is to not play, and adhere to the MSQ.

i just wish we had some kind of magic air bubble around our head. an garlean / allagan rebreather mask would be maybe fit in the game, but i like the non-technical solution more.

however, i really would like to have some swimming goggles, one with a snorkel and one without.

but i guess it is okay the way how it is. such a bubble around the head would probably look weird in the game...
