Stat point reset?

Hello all, I am fairly new to the game (even though I played XI for about 5 years) and I just reached level 35 on CNJ. I think my points aren't set very well and was wondering if anyone knows of a way to reset them.

I wasn't too worried about points at first because I played a little at ffxiv release and points could be changed but everything is different now and I can't find any new relevant information about reseting points now.

I put points in mind whenever I can and at the start was focusing on peity as well. Then I was in a group with someone who said to put points in int whenever you can't put points in mind so I put some in int. I also have a few in vit because I was told it helps enhancing magic.

After reading on the forums it seems best to take a route like mind and peity, mind and int, or mind and vitality to be most effective with a role.

I am afraid that when I reach 50 my points are so messed up I won't be good at much of anything because the points aren't placed properly.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Currently you can't reset your points but they said you will be able to in the future. Not sure if that means 1.21 or later.

i think it's 2.0 that we will beable to reset.

Please be warned that it will not be possible to undo point allotment for the duration of patch 1.20.

From the 1.20 Patch Notes. So I think we will be able to reset them in 1.21.

EDIT: I realize the bright red text looks a little harsh. That's the original formatting present in the patch notes though.

Don't worry, as long as you don't put points into STR and DEX your points aren't wasted on CNJ. You can make up points with gear and materia anyways.

Thank you all for the info. I feel a little better ^_^ I am glad we will be able to reset points in the future.
For now my point choices will have to do.
