Personally I would find it boring if there was basically nothing to distinguish male and female characters in game. I chose my character because I like the way it looks and the options that are available to it. I'm not saying I mind of some things are for both, but I do enjoy the variety also. Why bother having different character models if they are just going to wind up looking exactly the same? It's honestly that reason that I'll decide not to give my character a hairstyle that I know is available for both male and female avatars. Again, I'm not saying I mind the unisex hairstyles or that I care how others create their characters, but I personally like to have a style that is for sure only female. It's just more interesting to me that way and to know there are also unique options I could choose if I created a male avatar that would distinguish him from my female avatars.

In this case there are two different unique styles which is great. I don't see why they both need to be available to both character types.

Let's just start by making all the titles in the game with gender variants available to every gender shall we, so all those male burly roes and cross dressing male Miqo's can be called Goddess of War or Princess for a Day!
Afterall, we all need to be equal so that we don't want to encourage any sort of sexism, this is 2018...

Seriously people some things should be gender related. Some just love the cosmetics, others are just trolling other players with it, some just have different views. So lets agree to disagree;

Players who believe that gender based should stay separate will and have out numbered those who want no gender locks. While I could care less on life styles and accept everyone's individuality, I've seen too many players misused it and harassed players with sexual innuendos.

I for one can understand sexual orientation in game preferences but hey that is what fantasias are for. If people want to role play in game is all fun and dandy however if your really that desperate just go outside in RL and live that. What's that not many people are willing? So in a game it's ok -.-; SE please keep gender locks, some parent's are over protective after all.

I wouldnt call it sexist, but yes it'd be nice to see items wearable by whatever character chose to wear them.

I would also like to point out (again) that non-straight hairstyle choices are vastly outnumbered by choices available for long flowing straight hair. Whether male or female. wouldn't call it racist tho.

SE gonna do what SE does. Like another poster said, at least there's one for both this time around. AND the guys got the better looking one for once. If y'all who play female characters don't like that, well... tough cookies. Enjoy the many, many other options and quality choices you have that we don't.
