Yoshi P had big ideas back in the day, but he was also a lot less experienced back then. His mouth frequently wrote checks that his dev team couldn't cash.

5 years later...small ideas, but more experience. I wish we had ARR launch Yoshi-P than 2018 Yoshi-P. A Director with big ideas means a lot of good for a game. Nowadays, the design of things now feels more lazy and less thought out. Sad.

But if your big mouth makes you promise the impossible then you have a problem. Some things have been added and are going to be added into the game simply because he promised it back then (squadron and primal summoning in HoH) and he did so without having anything to promise really or simply wrong ideas (he thought about squadrons as a way to do dungeon solo, while undersized should've been the ideal from start),

Both ways have their pro and cons, but tbh I'd rather someone not prpmising me anything if he can't really hold up what he promises

it coming out in a few weeks and it will most likely not have an negative impact on the game, anyone who believe it will is naive.

I'll be honest, even if it'll be pay 2 win most ppl will accept it. Sadly this kind of things succed because ppl buy them.
