The discussion at it's core isn't of politics but if you are too blind to see the inherent political parallels between the situation unfolding around TMP and similar conversations going on about things irl you should work on that.

Some people have made it more politically polarized than it had to be by bringing up things specifically meant to disparage more right-leaning views just like was done during Gamergate. Again, if you can't see that the fault is your own.

Sadly in today's day and age anything linked to women gets linked to feminism and anything linked to third wave feminism is political because of the way third wave feminism portrays it's self.
