While I think it's important for SE to adapt based on player demand, I have compiled a desired wish list. It will be broken down into categories. Jobs listed under each category are in alphabetical order. There is some personal bias regarding the category that certain jobs land under as well as their assigned weapon type.
At rate of two jobs per expansion, which are released every two years, it will take approximately fifteen years to implement everything on this list.
TankJudge- Wields a gunhammer. Incorporates magitek when using actions.
Mystic Knight- Wields a mace. Imbues its weapon with magical properties.
Templar- Wields a lance. Counters enemy attacks with precise critical hits.
HealerChemist- Wields a measurer. Can preemptively "stack" additional effects onto actions.
Dancer- Wields a hand fan. Elegant casting animation. Can continuously dance to sustain effects.
Oracle- Wields a rod. Uses Predictions to bestow powerful effects when properly timed.
Melee DPSBeastmaster- Wields a club. Uses a blunt battle horn to damage enemies and command its pet.
Necromancer- Wields a battle scythe. Slashes enemies with dark magic while commanding the departed.
Soldier- Wields a gunblade. Melee combatant with select actions that can be used from a distance.
Physical Ranged DPSGunner- Wields dual pistols. Acrobatic and flashy. Quick with the trigger using a persistent haste.
Hunter- Wields a crossbow. Utilizes traps and specialized bolts to enhance its damage output.
Puppetmaster- Wields an animator. Issues commands to its mammet companion. Can deal physical or magical damage.
Magical Ranged DPSBlue Mage- Wields a whipblade. Mid-range combatant with damaging spells and support utility.
Geomancer- Wields a bell. Sustained ground-targeting effects. Can cast Flood, Quake, and Tornado.
Time Mage- Wields a chronometer. Can "speed up" damage-over-time spells to inflict burst damage.
Honorable MentionPsychic- Wields a chakram. Uses telekinesis to control its thrown weapon.
