[Request] Add alternative methods to getting Screenshot Contests rewards

As the title says, please make screenshot contest rewards more available to all casual photographers in-game by a means of other methods (achievements, seasonal event, mogstation, etc)

I am fully aware that this topic is very controversial since many of us are against exclusive rewards.
The majority of the Final Fantasy XIV community are interested in rewards such as the Scarf of Wondrous Wit, Ahriman Choker, Bluebird Earring and even the Mandragora Choker.
I myself am a screenshot taker but I do not have the skill set that many players may have off photography.

So please, reconsider on making these items exclusive to just 50 winners.

Yea I have been working hard to get the Gaelicat Cap for the contest rewards and have yet to obtain it for years.

You don't need skills, I'm pretty sure that due to the volume of entries that winners are picked at random.

If you improve (heck, you do not even need good skills, I've seen mechanically terrible submissions), you can get the same rewards next competition. In fact, the same rewards are given for all art style competitions and come back several times a year. As such, these rewards are not timed exclusives.
Also, you cannot hack, cheat, or win trade for screenshots/art.
The same cannot be said for other competitions that shall not be named.

Although, one improvement I would like to make is that the actual community votes, not just judges. I've seen better runner ups.

That would hardly be an 'improvement'. It'd just lead to popular players having an immense advantage over unknown players. Someone in a FC with hundreds of members could - in theory - get many of those members to vote in their favour.

Sorry, but a contest is a contest. Winners win, and get prizes. I'm not keen on having my efforts wasted on winning a prize just so some schmuck can do some mundane task and get it more easily. There are some things in-game that could stand to be more accessible, but the items that are exclusively prizes for contests should not be among them.

Try harder to win, and keep entering. If that's too much for you, clearly you don't actually want the items bad enough.

Also this. Making an art contest a popularity contest would defeat the purpose of even trying. As long as you're popular, you win. Let people judge that are actually at least somewhat qualified (that is, affiliated with the contest makers).

Call me the odd duck, but I think the rewards staying where they're at and being "special" rewards for the contests, considering that they literally use the SAME rewards for every contest, is fine as it is now. They're mostly just glamour items, odd ones, but alas, that's all they are really. If they could be obtained through monetary or other means, it would defeat their very purpose as being exclusive contest awards. It makes winning them, when you do at least, all the more special and achieving for you.

Really though, the items are just bonus in my opinion considering that the real achievement is you know, actually winning the contest. They offer the same rewards for the gear design contests besides the main winner's gear getting put into the game.

They're not actually serious, this is a response to the threads about people asking for ways to get the old Top 100 pvp rewards.

OP wrong windmill to charge at since the same reward pool is offered for every forum contest. Should have gone after the legacy items or maybe pre-order bonuses instead.
