Cant Take Lead

so im currently in eureka only lvl10 but when i ask for lead in parties i am unable to take does anyone know why this may be happening?

I'm not quite sure what causes this, I was unable to pass party leader to anyone once in a group.
I had only gotten it because the previous leader left and I was just automatically assigned as leader. Someone shouted for 2 people looking for a group, so I invited him and tried to pass leader so they could get their friend in.
In the end, I had to invite them, no big deal, but still strange I wasn't able to change leadership without leaving the group.

Person who has lead is not doing it properly? Are your setting for online status busy, afk, ect? I'm able to give and receive Leader when I'm there.

i've never changed it my settings have always been set to online

If you're currently have a Party Finder running, you can't pass lead. Other than that, I got nuthin'.

I have always been able to pass the lead not sure why your not able to. Might be some type of bug doing it.

I had this happen once before too. Someone asked for lead and it wouldn't let me pass it. I don't remember what fixed it.

I had this issue when I last went into Eureka. I went in with two friends and it made me lead. I kept trying to pass one of them lead and it wouldn’t work. After inviting some people I passed the lead to one of the new people so he could invite his friend and he was able to pass it back to me no problem. I passed it back to him and asked if he could promote that same person I was trying to make lead before and that didn’t work. He also couldn’t pass lead back to me. I don’t think they made any changes to the party system but this may have started up after the re in statement of the need button. I don’t know if it’s a bug but I’ve never had this issue in Eureka before.
