[Request] Add alternative methods to getting old Feast rewards

Personally as I mentioned in the other thread about this topic in the PvP suh forum non time exclusive rewards are silly and a waste of resources. Nevertheless, Storm can attest how the PvP comminty responds to suggestions such as these. To a degree I understand where they are coming from either way I am always in support for more options in any game aspect.

Well they can still keep them somewhat time exclusive (to get people excited to queue up) while letting people get older ones with my suggestion of just occasionally rotating old rewards into current pvp seasons as additional rewards.

Like let's say next season, top 100 gets its new reward + an old reward from Season [X] if it wasn't already acquired.

It's possible to find a solution to keep both groups of players happy.

Might not have worded it right, but I meant to say I am in favor of switching to a time exclusive system in place of what we have now. Just the PvP community will have nothing with rewarding top 100 rewards to none top 100 players. In their eyes no system that does not evolve top 100 will work.

They could also just keep all the rewards on the vendor instead of removing them after one season. Being able to buy rewards from a few seasons ago after the current season would make them always available, no matter when you decide to jump on the PvP wagon.

they need to address the boosting/trading and clogging up the leaderboards with alts as well.

old prizes should not be made available. it's called "EXCLUSIVE" for a reason.

No! If Rated PvP Rewards become available later why should anyone play the mode again? Believe me when i say that most people only play it for those rewards now since the 4.0 PvP is just boring to most real PvP players. I personally would not touch Feast ever again.

Barely anyone is playing the mode now. If queues were popping like popcorn and the leaderboards were filled with different individual characters, then yeah, I'd say the mode is thriving. But it's on life support now and the prognosis is grim.

By the same token, why should anyone run old primals again if they already have their mount? They do it because they want to help friends, maybe do WT, work toward their tank mount, etc. Feast isn't going to die if you let more people work toward a reward that's 3+ years old by now. The really, really hardcore PVPers will be chasing whatever the new thing is so that they can have it first (see also: Omega mounts - I don't think raiders care that eventually everyone will get that snake or airplane).

And regarding "exclusive', the Moogle costume was also marketed this way, yet it's up on Mog Station now. Is there anyone out there who attended the Fanfest who is losing their mind at a sprout with a brand new Moogle costume on that they bought from Mog Station? Anyone?

The 10 Hardcore PvPer's that still play this game dont really play Feast for Fun. At least not in EU. Most of those i have on my friendlist only play frontlines occasionally or quitted the Game.

You all want those items because they are rare, special. But as soon as they are available to everyone and theyr Moms you'll throw it into the glamourthingy and let it gather dust.

I do not see what is the problem. No one really likes Feast besides a select few. If the mode dies, then... good riddance? If something is so boring that no one wants to do it, it deserves to die just like Diadem. Perhaps then they would stop trying to push the Feast on everyone and put their effort into fixing PvP to make it more appealing to PvPers and newcomers alike.
