As stated in another post, currently most ATI/AMD Raedon 7xxx cards have this issue especially (7770s). It is a driver issue with ATI not an ingame bug. You can either wait for a new driver or use a Raedon 5xxx or 6xxx series or Nvidia 4xx or 5xx series cards.

The person with the 560TI I suggest double checking your drivers as I have the same card with the current drivers working flawlessly.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I just got a new computer (right now using the AMD graphics card built in) and I started having this problem last night and it continues into today. It started in Gridania Hamlet Defense. Zoning fixed the issue. Same thing happened in Ul'dah so I ran into Zone B and characters displayed again.

Seems like the issue is heavy loads cause nothing to render. Won't be able to test it on my Nvidia card until I get a new PSU, but hopefully that will fix the issue...

My brother had the same problem with his radeon HD 7770. But we found the Catalyst 12.6 Beta drivers and they seemed to have done the trick, he's been playing with them for about 4 days now.
