I fixed my signature, lodestone was taking a long time to resize it from its original massive resolution each time... sorry about that.

There are quite a few pieces of gear that for some reason turn up as pink once you dye them red. Don't know why some pieces of gear end up clearly red and some distinctly pink using the same dye.

so I get all the red dye... make all the L48 raptor gear

And THIS happened....








I wouldn't mind them being pink if they were made from pink dye and said "pink" in the name...
But RED???? Red these are not

Hopefully 2.0 will fix the dye issue. It'd be cool if it were like UO where you just buy your pot of dye, pick colour, click on item, and voila! That way you can dye your items multiple times and play around with different combinations.

Just to clarify to everyone... I don't mind pink.. I'd even be ok if ALL the pieces came out this way... that would, at least, be consistency...

One of my friends made the point that cotton dyed with the same dye as leather would not be the same shade
But in this case they are all Raptorskin...

For the Level 48 Raptorskin Jerkin, Level 48 Raptorskin culottes and Level 48 Felt Work Gloves, red is red...
but for the Level 48 Raptorskin workboots, red is pink?

This is a set... thats what bothers me
If there were set bonuses, this would be the setup to get it, Workboots with culottes and jerkin...

Well this will all be cleared up in 2.0 with the colorID system. They want tons of colors on all gear so it'll all be fixed eventually.

I agree, my friend i played with prepay, he was so happy his red(pink shirt) was outdated and he got a new shirt for his level. It was as pink as can be but said red. they need to get those pieces fixed. because there ARE reds already in the game that are red

They should never have removed the colour pink from the game. I was surprised when I saw what I thought was dated pink gear only to examine the players and find it said red. Just give us pink back SE because that is clearly what we're seeing.
