    Where's Patch 4.35

I thought it was supposed to be Ultimate Ultima 2 weeks after 4.3 and Heaven on High 2 weeks after that, but there's no maintenance scheduled for tonight. When are we going to get this content that was announced months ago?

Recently it's been four weeks after the .x1 patch (see 4.15 and 4.25). So, if that holds, it should be in two weeks.

Thanks for the responses. It's better to know than to be in the dark, but god damn I just don't understand the thought process here. There isn't nearly enough content in 4.3 to justify a 6 week delay on Heaven on High, especially when that's the content that people are going to play over and over again.

.5 patches have usually been five weeks after the initial main patch. That would put 4.35 at June 26th. I believe 4.25 was delayed an extra week, so it may be July 3rd.

Ultimately, I agree. There isn't nearly enough content to justify such a lengthily delay. If you're not doing Ultimate, you basically have nothing to do right now.

Nothing except achievement grinding or saying "Sod it, I'll be back next patch at the earliest," with the latter quite possibly not be seen again until late this expac or early the next... for about two or three weeks.

But yeah, five or six weeks after the main of the patch is about right. So we're getting Heaven on High on the 26th or 2nd, and then probably Pagos some point after that, be it right before or right after the Monster Hunter event begins. Then Moonfire Faire after that.

Ok for the hardcore FFXIV player it might not seem like a lot but for the casuals it's giving them chance to catch up and do quite a few things. I'm kinda dying for the the next Omega tier more than anything, but it'll come in time. Though Heaven On High isn't going to be your typical content release and no doubt it could potentially have a life quite similar to Palace of the Dead, so whether it comes now or later it seems to have longitivity potential.
Even at a gradual pace, the content released with 4.3 can easily be completed within less than a week. Eureka has been out for over three months now. I don't think it's unreasonable for people to complain they're essentially being told to wait an additional five weeks because they have to have more than an hour a day to play the game. I don't expect games to cater towards my very flexible schedule. I do expect stuff to keep my occupied for longer than a week. Granted, I have Ultimate. For the vast majority of players though, this isn't an option they are interested in.

I feel this is a key statement that Most players completely miss. Since it is natural that our feelings on the amount of content revolve around "what we personally want to do".

HOWEVER, lack of content a specific player is interested in IS NOT THE SAME AS lack of content to do.

    Myself as an example:

I spent the vast majority of 4.2 - 4.3 leveling, learning and gearing a new battle class. So I just this weekend hit level 20 and got my Anemos weapons from Eureka. Next up is Tsyukuyomi Ex, once I finish farming her for my weapons and totems for mount; then I still have alot of crafters to level. I also haven't been past level 100 in PoTD, so I'd like to do that at some point as well. Then there are my gathering, fishing, crafting, and sightseeing logs to complete..........plus other stuff I'm sure I've forgotten.

Now, I completely understand not everyone wants to do all or some of the stuff available in the game, but the point is that there is a ton of content in total in the game and VERY few, if anyone, has done ALL of it.

Which makes all the "lack of content" threads that pop up a bit ridiculous.

In the end content is individually valued by each player and they decide what is or isn't enough for them so there can be moments when they just don't have enough to do, but one man's trash can often be another man's gold. Some players have no intention to touch Eureka at all which is fine, (it's still content though), but I know a couple of players alternating between that and working on a Ultimate's Refrain prog. Both things couldn't be further apart from each other yet it's something they are working towards and they are happy with those little projects.

Perhaps if there was no Ultimate raids to please the hardcore raiders, maybe it's possible things like Heaven on High would of been released sooner as more resources could of been spent on it rather than niche content. It's nice to have regardless, but something has to compromise somewhere and if there is a little bit longer of draught for some players, then it's likely connected to other content in some form.

It can also be easily completed in longer.

Took me 3 weeks to do it at my gradual pace (and that's without going into eureka for the new challenge log because I'm already 20). I took my time and combined it with some older content as well.

Admittedly people who have been playing for a long time would have less older content to mix it with. For example, I used that to finally catch up on Hildibrand - which I did. So...next time I want to pace out content I won't be able to do that again as now that I'm caught up I will probably do the continuations when they are released. I also started using the new changes to potd Grip to work on getting those pretty weapons - once again if someone already has those, then that's not something to do. I also do hunts and did some achievements to get that pop up to disappear in more places. And sometimes I randomly join o5s/o6s practice parties to help new raiders out just for fun. Since I'm a healer that's decently geared, my knowledge of these fights can help make up for their mistakes as they learn and help them get their clear sooner, so I quite like doing that.

I'm not entirely disagreeing, considering that even at my super leisurely pace I still managed to do "all" the new content at least once(except ultimate and the 3rd new command mission)before the next patch, though without farming any of it for gear/doggo, just pointing out some people can draw it out for longer than a week. Though the gold saucer event, aetherpool grips, and gear/doggo farming that I will eventually do, and helping newbs out will definitely last me until the next patch.
