Completed the mentor requirements but it still won't let me become a mentor?

Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this question. This is my first time using this forum so I'm a bit confused.

As the title of this thread says I'm a bit confused on why I can't become a mentor even though I've completed all the requirements? Whenever i talk to the Smith from each main three cities the option of 'become a mentor' still doesn't pop up.

• I've reached lvl 70 Dark knight and completed the job story quest from up to 60 (as the minimum mentorship requires).
• I've reached lvl 70 White Mage and completed the job story quest.
• I've reached lvl 60 Summoner and completed the job story quest from up to 60 (as the minimum mentorship requires).
• I have 411 commendations.
• I have done over 1000 dungeons.
• I've even completed all the novice hall quests for tank, healer, and dps as well.

I've even reached lvl 60 in botany and miner as well even though that's a separate type of Mentorship. Am I forgetting something? Did the requirements get updated for stormblood or something? Thank you.

Check if you've got the "A Dark Day's Knight II", "Seeing White II" and "Soul Summoner II" achievements.
If any of those three are missing, you're probably missing a job quest for the respective job.

It bases off your achievement status last I checked. make sure you have "Dungeon Master" and "Leaving a Good Impression IV"

I don't believe level was increased.

Achievement Requirements for Disciples of the Hand and Land
・Reach level 60 with at least one Disciple of the Hand and Land.
・Synthesize 100 collectables.
・Gather or catch 300 collectables.

That's all it requires? sheesh no wonder I keep meeting so many mentors who got it just for the icon.

・Gather or catch 300 collectables.

Only if youre attempting to achieve Mentor Status by going Hand/Land

the Dungeon/Job requirements if youre working to achieve Mentor Status by War/Magic. So its one set of requirements or the other. You don't need both. (I didnt have crafting/gathering anywhere near 60 when I achieved Mentor Status)
